Online tuition fees explained: why 5 classes a week costs less per class
Comparing tuition fees is easier when you look at the price of one class, not only the monthly total. At SheTutor, the monthly fee rises by ₹600 for each extra class a week, so the price of each class falls as you add classes.

The maths, using KG to Grade 3
Take KG to Grade 3 on CBSE or Kerala State, taught in Malayalam and English:
- 2 classes a week (8 a month): ₹1,800, or ₹225 a class
- 3 classes a week (12 a month): ₹2,400, or ₹200 a class
- 4 classes a week (16 a month): ₹3,000, or ₹188 a class
- 5 classes a week (20 a month): ₹3,600, or ₹180 a class
Moving from 2 to 5 classes a week costs ₹1,800 more a month but gives 12 more classes, so each class costs ₹45 less.
